Mettler Family Vineyards 2003 Petite Sirah (Lodi)

Editors' Choice

Intense and concentrated in fruit, fully dry, and with lush, thick tannins, this Petite Sirah aims for the front of the pack and succeeds. Flavorwise, it's rich in blackberries, plum pudding, espresso and spice flavors that finish long and impressively complex. Great now, and should hold and develop over the next decade.
