Meyer-Fonné 2019 Réserve Pinot Noir (Alsace)

The tangy cranberry nose of this wine offers a nice, gamy smokiness. The palate is pure and red-berry-forward, with a tingle of acid on the back palate. Tannins are close-grained, fine and persistent throughout. Hints of pastis and soft, powdery cinnamon kick in on a medium-length finish. Layla Schlack
