Considered to be an “unregistered mezcal,” this agave distilled spirit is made in Jalisco. The aroma mixes savory and sweet—zesty tomato leads, with just a drizzle of honey. Savory and saline notes lead the palate, opening mouthwatering, hinting at vanilla midpalate, then finishing pervasively peppery, trailing off with a substantial rubber and smoke exhale.
