Dark hibiscus and pomegranate notes meet with black plum, hearty clove, allspice and dried violets on the nose of this very heady wine. Thickly structured with dense tannins on the palate, it speaks strongly of the rocky, rugged appellation, with boysenberry, dried fennel and wild-thyme flavors. Drink 2017–2023.
