A bit unfocused and raw at first, this one gathers its legs with time. The nose is smoky, with rhubarb and cranberry notes, while in the mouth, the dark fruit is muscular and just a little bitter. The finish is tight, tannic and tasty, but it's also rather one-dimensional, with no layers or complexity.
