Silex, a flinty soil, is commonly found around the village of Saint-Andelain. It gives a wine that is all about minerality, very textured and tight when young. This full wine shows considerable tightness, nervy acidity and a crisp, zesty character. It's a wine to age for a few more years; drink from 2016.
