The parcel of the Cannubi vineyard owned by Chiarlo is so steep that it has been terraced to make it manageable. Aromas of dried figs and sweet toast are instantly attractive. Ripe black fruit is the hallmark flavor of this wine, with dry, classically tarry tannins.
