This is a blend of tannic wines from the communes of Serralunga, and Castiglione Falleto, and fruitier wines from La Morra and Barolo itself. The two characters come together well in the sweet fruit and vanilla on the nose and the flavors of rich, bitter cherry, with a layer of structured dryness underneath.
