Scents of bright red berry, violet, rose, orange peel, leather and a balsamic note all mingle in the glass. The smooth, savory palate delivers ripe black cherry, black raspberry, freshly ground white pepper, cinnamon and licorice alongside firm but polished tannins. It's nicely balanced and very refined. Drink 2016–2026.
