Miguel Torres 2008 Cordillera Special Reserve Carmenère (Curicó Valley)

This smells scratchy and woodsy, with aromas of leather and piquant spices. It feels dense and layered, with ample body weight and loud flavors of herbal black fruit and wood spice. Like Carmenère often does, it finishes toasted, peppery and herbal. Michael Schachner
