Earthy and damp smelling, with chunky black cherry and olive aromas. The palate has a slightly choppy feel and then spicy, sweet flavors of herbs and blackberry. Finishes a little burnt and bitter, but overall there's enough sweetness and ripeness to offset any herbal qualities.
