Milbrandt 2012 The Estates Viognier (Wahluke Slope)

Though aged in just 20% new French oak, the wood still seems out front on this otherwise enjoyable wine that brings prominent notes of vanilla along with pear and peach. It's medium bodied in feel and avoids seeming oily or overblown, with a tart, citrusy finish. Sean P. Sullivan
