Miner 2017 Sierra Mar Vineyard Pinot Noir (Santa Lucia Highlands)

Quite light in the glass, particularly for this appellation, this bottling begins with aromas of pomegranate syrup, wet gravel, tea leaves and herbs on the nose. There's a sour cherry kick to the palate, where dried tarragon and loamy earth qualities lead into a French toast spice finish. Matt Kettmann
