Misiones de Rengo 2008 Cuvée Cabernet Sauvignon (Rapel Valley)

A bit hot and crusty on the nose, with black fruit and herbal notes of olive and bramble. The palate is full but hard as nails, with a tannic bite that is wicked like a shark. Flavors are full and drying due to the tannins, with herbal accents. Finishing flavors of coffee and spice cement its dark, muscular status. Michael Schachner
