Mitchell 2001 Grenache (Clare Valley)

No longer called “The Growers,” as it was in the past, because Mitchell's own fruit goes into this wine. Smells like cherries and cologne, with raspberry the most prevalent note on the palate. Soft in the mouth, it finishes with anise, herb and more red fruit. 7% Mataro.
