Moët & Chandon NV Les Sarments d'Aÿ (Champagne)

Cellar Selection

This is the fullest and deepest of Moët's three new Grand Cru single-vineyard bottlings, with a dark cherry and anise tinged, slightly meaty nose. Similar handsome kirsch and spice flavors show on the palate and through the long, taut finish. It's not weighty, but well-structured, and though already tasty, this will benefit from a few years aging. Drink 2003-2010.
