From this well-known negociant we get a négociant-quality red; good for easy drinking, picnics and not a lot of scrutiny. Loaded with spicy, juicy, nutmeg-laden Grenache fruit, this wine is an indication of what good Côtes-du-Rhône can be. It isn't great, but at this price it doesn't have to be. Michael Schachner
