Monte Antico 2003 Rosso Sangiovese (Toscana)

Upright, with notes of cinnamon candy on a nose dominated by bright red fruit. Quite clean and free flowing, with snappy strawberry and cherry flavors resting comfortably on a fresh, acid-driven palate. The opposite of dead weight; this is a lively wine. Michael Schachner
