Montemercurio 2007 Damo (Vino Nobile di Montepulciano)

Damo has earthy fragrances of tobacco leaf, underbrush and truffle, along with notes of raspberry and spice. The palate shows ripe black cherry, vanilla and sweet spice flavors, as well as a hint of licorice. This has nice depth and balance, but will be more complex after 2017. Kerin O’Keefe
