The telltale passion fruit character of this wine may not be as pure as it was on the splendid 2001 vintage, but it's unmistakably there. What I love about this wine is the zesty acidity and depth of flavor. If other Chilean Sauvignon Blancs have seemed unexciting, this partially barrel-fermented example may change your opinion.
