Apple and melon aromas are soft and easy, while the palate shows okay pear flavors that are heavily touched up by resiny, vanilla-tinged oak. There's a lot of wood character and not much vitality or spirit. A candied, basic wine made in fairly large quantity (25,000 cases). Michael Schachner
