A nose of creamy pear and apple aromas carries a citric edge, while citrus leads the palate, with vanilla and resin in support. The feel is round and medium-bodied, with modest oak making itself noticed on the palate and finish. In the end there's more wood than pure fruit. Better than acceptable but that's as far as it goes.
