This blend of 80% Malbec with 20% Syrah is dense and rich but a touch flat on the nose, with blueberry and cumin accents. The palate feels heavy and tannic, while flavors of blackberry, prune and herbs are nice. A drawing, hard finish harks back to the tannic palate, and given that this is already six years old you might as well drink it now.
