The nose is potent and yeasty, with ample nuttiness. It takes time to open, but when it does there is a full blast of apple and some resiny notes that add complexity. The mouthfeel is zesty and lively, and the balance is in proportion. Not run of the mill, this is well worth a try. —M.S.
