Herbal notes mingle with lavender and hints of wood on the bouquet. Wild berry flavors along with a touch of bacon follow on the palate. The finish is light and a tad woody, and the finishing note is one of chocolate. The midpalate isn't terribly full, but it's far from a vacuous wine. For the price, it delivers.
