Morandé 2002 Edicion Limitada Carmenère (Maipo Valley)

The nose is almost salsa-like, with the pepper and tomato aromas that come up from the glass. But if you can get past the herbal gatekeeper, there's a nice mouthfeel and spicy fruit. A different path in Carmenère, one that requires a second, maybe a third taste to appreciate. Michael Schachner
