Morandé 2004 Terrarum Reserve Carmenère (Maipo Valley)

Dark and oaky, with coffee, olive and beet-like aromas. Displays good black cherry character but also a lot of vanilla, coffee and wood grain. Feelwise, it's kind of hard and tannic; and bitterness on the finish can't be avoided. Imported by Morande USA. Michael Schachner
