Morandé 2006 Reserva Pinot Noir (Casablanca Valley)

Orange rind and pineapple/passion fruit aromas announce this wine as less than serious. And the palate confirms the suspicions raised up front: it's jumbled, hot and acidic. Pablo Morandé may be a pioneer with Casablanca Pinot, but this wine doesn't really impress. Michael Schachner
