Morandé 2007 Reserva Carmenère (Maipo Valley)

Briary berry aromas and a bit of leafy minerality open it, followed by saturated cassis and black cherry flavors mixed with spice and smoke. It trails off quickly on the finish, with lingering spice, chocolate and more dry leafy qualities. Michael Schachner
