Môreson 2001 Sauvignon Blanc (Franschhoek)

This is a grassy, lean bottling with a bit too much asparagus and vegetal notes on both the nose and palate. The flavor profile features some grapefruit and green apple, but the fruit is rather dilute and distant. Beyond that, the finish is dry, almost like drinking club soda.
