Morgan 2005 Tondré's Grapefield Pinot Noir (Santa Lucia Highlands)

This is not as good a Pinot as Morgan's Garys' Vineyard. The main problem is overripe fruit. The wine has a baked, almost burnt pie-filling quality. Hard to say why two Pinots grown so close together are so different, but that's terroir for you.
