Sophisticated winemaking is evident here. The blending is well done, and the mix of raspberry, cherry and plum fruits reflects the Cabernet, Merlot, Cab Franc and Petit Verdot components. Half the barrels were French, half American oak. A little more punch in the finish would elevate the score.
