Mount Langi Ghiran 2018 Talus Shiraz (Grampians)

From a remote, mountainous site deep in western Victoria, Mount Langi's Talus offers power, polish and elegance. High-toned blueberry and black-currant fruit opens, underpinned by mint, sweet spices and florals. Juicy, plump fruit on the midweight palate provides a satiny texture, with a tannic tug. Structured enough to cellar until around 2028 or sip with a plate or protein, it is also approachable enough to be a crowd-pleaser on its own. Christina Pickard
