Mount Tamalpais 2004 Merlot (Marin County)

Tannic, dry and rustic, this Merlot offers simple grapy, berry flavors. It's from the county just north of the Golden Gate that's making a name for Burgundian and Alsatian varieties, but not for Bordeaux.
