Heady aromas of honeycomb, baked pear, buttercup honeysuckle, peach fuzz and a stoney mineral nuance engulf the senses on this pale gold-hued Gris from North Canterbury. The palate is equally intense: dry with fleshy orchard fruit, a slippery texture and a long finish. It's on the richer end of the PG spectrum and would pair well with a variety of cheeses and buttery pastas. Christina Pickard
