Despite the fact that Otago isn't known as Sauvignon Blanc country, winemaker Matt Dicey has bottled a lean, racy Sauvignon that's herbaceous, not vegetal. Some melon-like fruit provides the flesh, and lime-like acidity keeps it fresh and lively.
