This is a nearly off-dry style of Riesling, offering a heady mix of citrus, yeasty apple, honey and white spice. On the palate, the honeyed orchard fruit notes become more prominent with the residual sugar, and there's a lovely lemony finish, but overall it's lacking some of the energy, zip and laser-sharp acidity that's needed to pull this style off.
