One of Rioja's unique old-school reds is lean, tangy and herbal, with dry plum and prune aromas as well as some dill and rubber. Piquant cherry and tobacco carry the peppy palate, while the finish is warm and lengthy. Quite a throwback, but with an appealing taste and class.
