Muga 2014 Torre Muga (Rioja)

Savory berry aromas include a lot of oak and graphite along with exotic hints. Hailing from a vintage marked by a rainy harvest, this isn't bright or fruity at any check point. Blackberry, cassis and licorice flavors are short on a blocky finish tasting of mint, cardamom and oak. Drink through 2024. Michael Schachner
