Murphy-Goode 1998 Brenda Block Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (Alexander Valley)

Smoky and bacony upfront, with subtle blackberry, cassis and herb flavors on the follow-up. Moderate body is framed by powdery tannins; however, that may or may not round off in time. On the whole, a very good wine, though the finish is a bit herbal.
