Murphy-Goode 1999 Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley)

Starts off with extremely young, jammy flavors and a sharp bite of fresh acidity. If you let air in the glass, the oak shows through, toasty and warming. Underneath is rich, cherry-berry fruit and spice. Tannins are firm but ripe. Best to age until 2002, or let it breathe for an hour or more.
