Murphy-Goode 2002 Adams Knoll Cabernet Sauvignon (Alexander Valley)

Cellar Selection

Of the three new designated Cabs this winery has out now, this is the most elegant and accessible. It has polished, fine tannins and a silky mouthfeel framing intense blackberry and currant flavors, and is totally dry. But it's a young wine that needs a good five years to show its stuff.
