Murphy-Goode 2003 All In Claret Red (Alexander Valley)

Murphy-Goode has a history of producing quality Bordeaux blends. But there's way too much new oak here, 100 percent in fact, and that, on top of a residual-sugary finish, pushes this wine into unbalance.
