Murray McDavid Mission Range Glenlivet 1974 Speyside Single Malt Whisky

Yellow/gold appearance. Initial sniffings reveal incredibly soft yellow fruit and flower scents, with a trace of pencil eraser; more air contact stirs up delicate aromas of malt, wood chips and wet earth. Palate entry boasts a lovely oily texture and a taste of unsweetened breakfast cereal; at midpalate, the ultra-dry flavor profile leans heavily to the malt aspect while the texture turns creamy and silky smooth. P.P.
