Murrieta's Well 2003 Zarzuela Red Wine Red (Livermore Valley)

I admire this blend. It took real courage to work with the Spanish varieties of Touriga, Tempranillo and Souzao. The wine is soft and rich, with spicy flavors veering toward cherry kirsch, and a veneer of smoky oak. One can only hope that the winery continues working at it. Could be a real breakthrough.
