Packed full of flavor, this wine offers notes of blackberry and blueberry jam, plum pie filling, black cherry compote, chocolate, vanilla, raisin, licorice, fresh cedar wood and a hint of smoke on the back of the palate. Tannins take a firm grip and are well met by the concentration of fruit. Absolutely enjoyable now, the wine has aging potential as well. Stacy Briscoe
