Muscardini 2009 Monto Rosso Vineyard Sangiovese (Sonoma Valley)

You'll want to drink this wine with beef, cheese and richly sauced foods, in order to balance out the dryness and acidity. On its own, it's austere, with cherry and sandalwood flavors. Rich, fatty fare will tame it and bring out the sweet fruit.
