Muscardini 2014 Unti Vineyard Sangiovese (Dry Creek Valley)

From the well-known vineyard in the appellation, this is made entirely from the variety, and it has a texture and flavor of fruit leather, plum and dried cherry, as well as an herbal earthy note of tomato leaf. The tannins are a tad harsh, but mellow in the glass. Virginie Boone
