Nägelsförst 2016 Engelsfelsen Pinot Noir (Baden)

Slightly lifted aromas of black cherry and blackberry are nuanced by bramble and forest floor here. The medium-bodied palate offers succulent black fruit flavors offset by savory earth tones and revitalizing streaks of cranberry acidity. Very fine, ripe tannins and hints of soil and cocktail bitters linger on the finish. Anna Lee C. Iijima
