Napa Wine Co. 2001 Sauvignon Blanc (Oakville)

Basic grapefruit and white peach aromas give way to a palate that's mostly about lemon and melon. This wine seems to have gone through far too severe a barrel regimen, and to us, popcorn and butter just don't complement most Sauvignon Blancs.
